In August of 2019 I lost my sweet Grandmother. She was an incredible artist, fashionista, mother and grandmother. She collected vintage clothing and put on fashion shows. She put on the most divinely decorated parties. She made Christmas magical. She designed stunning turquoise beaded jewelry. Her closet was full of fine clothing, she had impeccable taste. She was classy but very ornery, which made her irresistable. She always smelled good. She always had my favorite gum in her purse. She was level headed. Smart. Wise. She always had your back. Anyone who came to her house, she made them feel as if they were her own. She was amazing. I miss her. When she passed, and I was constantly replaying memories in my mind, this memory popped in my head ...
When I was in High School I started playing with her beads and making jewelry. She said, "You need to start making clay Jewelry." The next week she had bought me a bag of FIMO clay. I was a little overwhelmed by it, so I put it off.
18 years later, I decided to try it. So this site is dedicated to her. Her name was Gloradel <3
You will notice that each shape of earrings has its own name. My earrings are named after important and influential women in my life.
the GLORADEL - Gloradel was my Grandmother. She was up to date in fashion. Incredible aritst. One of a kind. Beautiful inside and out.
the LORI - Lori is my mom. My best friend. My counselor. My work partner. My favorite person to laugh with. And we laugh a lot. Not sure what I'd do without her.
the DREW - Drew is my first daughter. She is golden all the way to her bones. She is deep feeling. She is a helper. She is pure. I adore her.
the COLE - Cole is my second daughter. She is artistic. She is hilarious. She brings joy the the room. She loves the bible, and I love that about her.
the DOLORES - Dolores is my Memaw. She is strong. She is good. She is pretty close to perfect. She has the best love stories about her and my grandpa. She is who I want to be like.
the MARIA - oh sweet Maria. She is a special person in my life. She is a mentor. A minister. She has a sweet connection to the Lord. I long for my relationship with Jesus to look like hers.
the AMANDA - Amanda is my sister in law. The beautiful dark haired girl in the pics on my page. She is an incredible wife, and mother. She is all things good. I thank God all the time for her.
the DARBY - Darby is one of my best friends since the 1st grade. She has brought massive amounts of joy to my life. Laughing til your abs are sore. She has a giant heart. An awesome mom.
the DONNA - Donna is one of my best friends, Jessica. No her name isn't Donna. But in High School we made up our alter egos. Life would be dull without "Donna" in my life. She is hilarious. She is strong.
the ABBY - Abby is my cousin. She is strong, joyful, brave, and an amazing mom. She us undergoing cancer treatment for 3 years now. She continues to amaze me with her grace and ability to smile in the midst of hard days. I admire her and love laughing with her. <3
the COURTNEY - Courtney is my cousin. She is 4 years older than me, so shes basically my older sister. She is the most hospitable and thoughtful person. She would do anything for me. She loves deeply. She has two miracle babies that i adore. <3
the RACHEL - Rachel is one of my dearest friends. She is nothing but sunshine. Shes all things good. She prays for me. She's honest with me. She checks on me. She makes me laugh. She is irreplaceable. xoxo.
the MELISSA - Melissa is one of my favorite people. We met in college, in an aerobics class. I knew we would be friends because we were the only ones laughing. She is solid and a joy to be around. I can call her anytime. xo.
the MINDY - Mindy is a dear friend. She is refreshingly honest. Hilarious. Pretty. Real. She is a genuine soul and I love laughing with her. <3
the KAYLA - Kayla is my cousin-in-law. She is not just stunning on the outside but just as gorgeous on the inside. She is the SWEETEST momma. I very much admire her walk with the Lord. She brings the light wherever she goes. Shes a blessing to our family <3
the JILL - Jill is a young mother of 3 gorgeous girls. Almost two years ago, she suddenly lost her husband. Watching her go through that was something I will never forget. She was broken, but she still smiled. She still returned my texts. She still planned a funeral. She kept going. And so did her girls, because they were watching her. Her strength comes from the Lord. She is an example to follow. I admire her strength and grace.
the JENN - Jenn is a dear friend. She is a wife and a mother of 3. But she has mothered other kids through foster care. She is hilarious. She is smart. She is REAL. When I'm with her, she always makes me feel heard. I can be myself with her. I'm thankful for this GIANT hearted friend of mine. :)
the LARA - Lara is a friend of mine that I met in the 5th grade. I knew even then, that she was genuine. Lara has been through a lot. That's saying it lightly. Most everything she has been through has been out of her control. One disappointment after another. She is also very much acquainted with grief. When I see people go through really hard things, I watch! I watch how they react, respond, and cope. She has done those things well. She has grit like no one I've ever met. She is a beautiful person inside and out. I cannot wait to watch how God will give her beauty for ashes. Love you friend.
the GERRI - Gerri is a sweet lady who I've known most my life, but just recently have had converstaions with. We have talked about life, morals and how she was raised. Her life growing up was unbelievably hard. What she has walked through is gut wrenching. I admire Gerri because when you know her life story and then you see who she is now, its not just inspiring but could give anyone HOPE! I hope she writes a book someday. ;) She gives all credit to Jesus Christ.
the RICKI LEA - Ricki Lea is the sister of my best friend Rachel. She is a precious human being. She has 5 kids. Her oldest son is in heaven. He got cancer at a young age and battled it for years. Watching her go through that and still watching how she keeps going is beyond an inspiration. She gives the Lord all the glory. What a sweet reunion it will be someday when she gets to hug Xander's sweet neck again. I want to be there for that! She will have many jewels in her crown <3
